Welcome New Staff

Craft Nova Scotia is very pleased to welcome Ashley Marlin to Craft Nova Scotia in the position of Special Projects and Events Coordinator, effective September 19th, 2022.

Ashley has significant market and event experience, including experience working with artisans, local producers, volunteers, not-for-profit organizations, and government agencies. She has also served on the board of Farmers’ Markets of Nova Scotia for six years as secretary and president.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Mary’s University in biology and environmental studies. She is passionate about a strong sustainable local economy as well as celebrating our local artists, and creators.

Ashley has experience coordinating a variety of business development workshops and training sessions, as well as experience with online retail sales. We are excited to see how she can enhance our Online Designer Craft Shop to support members and the community.

Ashley’s experience managing the two largest farmers’ markets on the South Shore for over 13 years will prove very valuable Craft Nova Scotia, and our membership, as we move forward to revision our markets and retail sales.
