Standards Application

Artist: Ruby BoutilierArtist: Ruby Boutilier Jurying is required for participation in Craft Nova Scotia markets or to obtain the distinction of Craft Nova Scotia Master Artisan. Jurying is undertaken by the Standards Committee, a jury of respected craftspeople representing a variety of media. All members of the Craft Nova Scotia, with the exception of Associates, may apply to have work juried by the Committee.

*Please note that these are the final assessment dates before the Craft Nova Scotia's Retail Craft Shows. As these are peak times for assessment, we ask that only applicants interested in exhibiting in the upcoming show sign up for these sessions. We thank you in advance for your consideration.

In order to have your work assessed by the committee you will need to submit 3-6 crafted items representative of your production line or artistic direction. If your products are diverse in media or technique, please submit several samples representative of each medium or technique. Work submitted for jurying must be received two business days prior to the jurying session along with a $10 administrative fee, and may be collected within the following week. Applicants will be informed in writing as to the decisions of the Committee.
